  1. Great podcast this week. I have a question… who assumes the liability for injury due to misuse or improper use by a viewer? The content creator or the sponsor? Example: the river tables created by using epoxy. I’ve seen no mention of the need for safety equipment (i.e. gloves, respirators or eye protection) or discussion around the proper way to dispose of pots and rags. Is it something that should be considered? Especially on IG where all you see is a 30 seconds of the pour.

Just to let you know I’m not a safety sally 🙂 I am old enough however to remember Norm having to explain about reading and understanding all of the safety information that comes with your tools or products.

  2. Great show fellas. I may have missed it, but I didn’t hear anything regarding how you actually get aligned with companies other than them coming to you. I have a pretty decent IG following and I’ve done a handful of sponsored posts, most just for the tool. And 90%+ is me reaching out to them. The big tool companies generally don’t even return my emails/messages. Is there a good way to ask for a collaboration?

    • Little slow on the response here, but the easiest way to reach out is using DM’s on Instagram. If you have a decent following there then that’s how you want to reach out.
