John and I just got back from Workbench Con down in Atlanta and today we’re going to recap some of the learnings we took away.   We’ve talk about it before but Workbench Con is a conference for makers to help grow their business through networking, specific classes on social media, video editing, blogs and more.  Plus there are a ton of brands there from the woodworking and DIY space. We’ll hit you with some solid takeaways we got from the event and why it’s quickly become one of our favorite shows.

This episode is brought to you by Audible.  In episode 85 we talked about burn out and we found ourselves in a lot of conversations with our listeners about staying motivated.  So I wanted to personally take a second and recommend a book I recently finished called “Can’t hurt me: Master Your Mind and Defy The Odds” by David Goggins. David is a former Navy Seal and Arm Ranger who runs 100 mile marathons and is an absolute beast. When I downloaded the book i did it because I have an admiration for our service men and women and wanted to hear a good story. When i finished it i wanted to run through a wall! They put a cool spin that isn’t available in the physical book into the audio version.  It’s sort of like a podcast mashed up with an interview.
